I Photograph Clotheslines. Green Point Design photographs are always real. They’re the images of what I see dancing in the skies in all kinds of weather, hopefully dry. Most often, the laundry laughs the heartiest in Newfoundland, where family sagas and songs play out in the snappy salt air. These images give me hope, hope that the next day will be better than the last. A chance for renewal is in every wash load, just as it is in every one of life’s challenges. The camera has to be there at the split second when the choreography of an exact moment speaks the most poetically. The smell, the sound as the wind whips through, through the lives and livelihoods they speak of, compel me to try and capture it.
